zion today, tomorrow, forever?

Zion National Park, once known by the indigenous name, Mukuntuweap, became a National Monument in 1909. This iconic canyon region is very sacred to native Peoples and was once abundant with wildlife like bear, elk, cougars, bobcats, ringtail cats and more. As settlement encroached and visitation increased, many of the things that made this place special have disappeared. Today we have a beautiful travel destination with bucket list hikes and condors soaring overhead. What does tomorrow hold?
